Welcome to Oregon ISA

I want to thank you for visiting www.OregonISA.com

ISA is very interested in running Tournaments and Leagues throughout Oregon State and the NW Region.

Players, Teams, Directors, Umpires and Fans all enjoy ISA's fast paced style of play and strategy.  ISA is the originator of base stealing in slowpitch softball.  ISA was the first to implement a pitcher's box to assist and protect the pitcher from harm.  ISA has many progressive rules that bring more excitement to the park.  We use a 3-balls, 3-strikes count with no extra foul ball.  We have higher HR limits and our penalty for exceeding those limits is stiffer, an inning ending out.  We use a Base Burglar in lieu of Courtesy Runners.  As you can see, our game is structured to get more players involved and bring more strategy and excitement to the park.

If you have an interest in participating with ISA as a Team, Tournament Director, League Director or Umpire, please contact me at your earliest convenience.

2008 ISA World Series

The 2008 ISA World Series proved to be the tournament of the year. Eighty-two teams from 14 states joined ISA in Polk County, Florida to fight for the chance of becoming the Ultimate Champions of ISA. Throughout this tournament, competition was fierce and the games were full of excitment. Many of the games that were played in all divisions were decided by a very small margin, 1 run. This proves that the best of the best in ISA were playing in this event.

We would like to take the time to thank all of our staff, teams and spectators that participated in the 2008 World Series. With your help and sportsmanship of all involved we were able to put off a sucessful tournament.

A special thanks goes out to all who helped support Darryl Reardon and his family in there fight against brain cancer. Together we raised just under a $1000 for their cause.

Congratulations to Deluxe Bakery (NJ) Class C, Florida Fury (FL) Class D, and RBI Reloaded (TN) Class E, who are the 2008 ISA World Series Champions.
