Welcome to Oregon ISA

I want to thank you for visiting www.OregonISA.com

ISA is very interested in running Tournaments and Leagues throughout Oregon State and the NW Region.

Players, Teams, Directors, Umpires and Fans all enjoy ISA's fast paced style of play and strategy.  ISA is the originator of base stealing in slowpitch softball.  ISA was the first to implement a pitcher's box to assist and protect the pitcher from harm.  ISA has many progressive rules that bring more excitement to the park.  We use a 3-balls, 3-strikes count with no extra foul ball.  We have higher HR limits and our penalty for exceeding those limits is stiffer, an inning ending out.  We use a Base Burglar in lieu of Courtesy Runners.  As you can see, our game is structured to get more players involved and bring more strategy and excitement to the park.

If you have an interest in participating with ISA as a Team, Tournament Director, League Director or Umpire, please contact me at your earliest convenience.

Early action say some great battles as some early favorites looked to be on track. Diamond Kings slipped past the Trouble Makers by a score of 6 to 1 while Hammered came out of a 10 inning battle with Off Constantly by the score of 8-7. Meanwhile Ga Legacy was slipping by Stingers by a score of 7 to 1 and Diamond Jacs where getting by Ga Diamondbacks 11 to 1.   After some great games and some great defensive battles saw Sunday roll around with the final four being the Jokers, Diamond Kings, Ga Legacy, and Diamond Jacs. After Jokers had slipped by Mtn Pro Realty by the score of 6-3 ans Diamond Kings beating Drive By with a 14 to 5 score.
Diamond Jacs were handling Ga Legacy with a 14 to 2, 5 inning defeat on field 1 while on field 2 the Diamond Kings were beating the Jokers 15 to 7. The 3rd place game saw Ga Legacy staying flat and Diamond Kings handing them a 15 to 2 run rule. Then the championship game came down to Diamond Jacs vs Diamond Kings. All were expecting a high scoring affair but thru 5 innings it was all knotted up at 1 to 1. Diamond Kings plated 2 to go ahead 3 to 1 but the Diamond Jacs came in and answered by put 8 on the board for a 9 to 3 tally after 6 and held on for the NIT Championship with a paid berth to Winter Haven for the World Series.
